Big McDonald Lakes water clarity, quality and ecology are among the best in Otter Tail County. However, they can’t be taken for granted to always be that way. Now is the time to develop a lake management plan; a guide for protecting and enhancing the lake into the future.
Come join lake friends and neighbors and participate in the visioning process. It’s an opportunity to share your insights, express concerns, identify issues and contribute ideas about the future of Big McDonald Lake.

The meeting was held on 8/13 at the Dent Senior Center.
We worked hard to consolidate ideas and find out how to keep the lake in good health.
As soon as the ideas from the workshop are consolidated, the findings can be shared here.
